Senior Manager – Cost and Control

Listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, our client is a leading Singapore company engaged in Property Development, Infrastructure Construction and Oil & Gas Industry in Singapore, China and overseas. To cope with the expanding business in China, they are looking for the Senior Manager – Contracts & Cost to join their head office in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects are adequately equipped and all resources are in efficient and effective manner.
• Ensure all construction and costs fall within the budget, and make effective cost-control recommendations.
• Review all consultant submitted cost estimates, cost plans and cost reconciliations.
• Oversee all cost administration and monitor costing and procurement changes, and potential impact to the overall construction budget
• Assist in coordination between inter-department and external parties.
• Lead the team and centralised the regulation, system in the group

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline;
• MRICS, MHKIS or equivalent qualification;
• At least 15 years of experience in property industry, preferable in large development project;
• Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
